WHITE CROSS

Banda de Metal Cristiano quien formada en el año 1986, en la ciudad de Chicago, lanza su primer trabajo discográfico ese año. Sus primeros álbumes muchas veces invitan comparaciones a "Ratt". Con la partida del guitarrista Rex Carroll en 1992, el sonido de la banda pasó por un drástico cambio; tanto que algunos fans de Whitecross mostraban una fuerte preferencia por el anterior o posterior trabajo exclusivamente.
Whitecross ha ganado tres Premios Dove: Dos por Álbum de Música Hard del año" con "Triumphant Return" (1990) y "In The Kingdom" (1992) y uno con "Come Unto the Litgh" del álbum Unvelied que ganó Mejor canción de Música Hard in 1995.
En 1998 el cantante Scott Wenzel tomó dos años para trabajo misionero en Sur América y Whitecross hace lugar a una pausa. Pocos acontecimientos con la banda por siete años, exepto por un par de conciertos ofrecidos por Wenzel y Carroll en el 2002.
En el 2005, Scott y Rex se reunen grabando Nineteen Eighty Seven que ofrece regrabaciones de nueve de las diez canciones de este mismo título debut (You´re Mine) también una regrabación de la canción Love on the Line y una nueva canción instrumental de guitarra por Rex Carroll.
Hay planes a grabar un nuevo material, también la posibilidad de un solo de guitarra con Rex carroll.-
